Beverly is passionate about animals, especially dogs and cats. She discovered her talents for grooming when she realised that the cuts of her two poodles (Coco, miniature and Pollyanna, standard) did not satisfy her aesthetic and technical expectations. None of the groomers that had groomed her dogs were able to give them that special stylish factor that she was looking for.

Always one to take up a challenge she embarked upon an intensive grooming course. Two years later, with the experience of hundreds of dogs behind her, she took the big leap and opened the Barking Betty dog grooming salon on Battersea Park Road. We have recently relocated to Camberwell.

From the earliest days, her clients have appreciated how much attention Beverly dedicates to every detail of their dogs and her eye for style. She enjoys creating a bespoke cut that reflects both your dog’s personality and breed.

Your pets’ welfare is close to her heart. She will advise you about its well-being and, if necessary, refer your dog to other specialised experts.

ELLIE

Responsible for day care, boarding and training, Ellie is an experienced dog minder and qualified dog training instructor. She makes sure that your dog enjoys feeling part of the Barking Betty pack. To this end, she is very attentive to its needs, first of all exercise.

She has a deep understanding of dog’s behaviour. You can be sure that if your pooch has any problems she will be able to advise you how or train your dog to overcome them.
